APPLICATION QUESTIONS—New Questions for the 2007-2008 Season

A new question style will appear in league matches this season. In league meets one through four, two questions per set will be “Application Questions.” Found in the Study Guide and on the website at www.biblequiz.com, Application Questions will lead your quizzers into discovering new bits of information on the books of Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon. Questions and answers can be memorized word-for-word.
Please insert the following new rules on page 28 of your rule book. A copy that you can paste into your rule book will be posted soon at www.biblequiz.com.
Application Question
An Application Question is a question from the Bible Quiz Study Guide that requires answers from the current topics being studied concerning Biblical verses, books, authors, history, doctrine, and/or other related topics.
1. Two Application Questions per set will be included in both A and Novice League competitions for the material being emphasized during that league meet. The Application Questions will only be included in league meets one through four. Official competition sets will not contain Application Questions.
2. All Application Questions and the answers that go with them will be found in the Bible Quiz Study Guide for the current year and will be posted on the Bible Quiz website. The questions and answers are not necessarily found in the Scripture being studied.
3. Application Questions and answers are available for study. No Contest may be brought to challenge the validity of the question or to present Additional Scriptural Evidence. All other Contesting issues may be presented.
Application Questions can be downloaded at www.biblequiz.com and are also found at the back of the Bible Quiz Study Guide, available in October of 2007. A revised official copy of these questions will be posted soon.
