2007 National Bible Quiz Finals Results

The 2007 National Bible Quiz Finals was held July 8-13, at Loews Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona—a place with wonderful staff, service, and atmosphere.

If you haven’t heard yet, Church at Briargate from Colorado Springs, Colorado won the 2007 National Finals making them the reigning champs for two years in a row. The playoff match between Church at Briargate and Cedar Park Assembly from Bothell, Washington was close. It came down to the last question which was answered by Andrew Kelley for the win leaving the final score at 170-135.

Third place went to James River Assembly of God from Ozark, Missouri followed by First Assembly of God from Lafayette, Indiana in fourth place.

In the Challenger Division, First Assembly of Binghamton, New York took the division title with a 17-2 record followed closely by Grace Assembly of God, Syracuse, New York with a 16-3 record. Overland Park Assembly of God came in third with a 15-4 record.

In addition to the team competition a large number of quizzers participated in the other available competition categories. Congratulations to the winners!
