Carrie Ball's Testimony

Carrie attends Lakeview Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has quizzed for six years and has memorized five books of the Bible, receiving her National Memorization Award twice. "If it were not for Bible Quiz, I would not be in church today. Bible Quiz competition drew me in, and the words of Scripture hooked my heart. I have made friends that will last a lifetime. The relationships that I've made in quiz are deeper than superficial--they focus on Jesus, bringing us closer together. I met my coaches (missionaries) Tina and Manuel Prabhudas when their daughter Kristen came to our church to quiz. After they moved back to Madagascar, my mother and I had the opportunity to visit them. I know that I am called into youth ministry, and after visiting Africa, I also feel called to be a missionary to orphans." Carrie plans on attending Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis in the fall, while continuing to coach TBQ and JBQ. In the fall of 2007 she plans to transfer to Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Carrie attributes her call to ministry to the time that she spent in personal study through Bible Quiz.
