South Texas Invitational Results February 1999

by Greg House The South Texas Invitational was held this weekend, playing host to 28 teams from three regions. Teams were broken into A and B divisions, each playing a full round-robin with double elimination. It was great preparation for upcoming regional and national competition, but many of the scores suffered as teams were just finishing or not quite finished with the book. Trophies were awarded to the top four teams and top six individuals in each division, and the results following playoffs were:

As always, Steve and Becky Fowler put on a great tournament and made everyone feel welcome - their "goodie bags" are, by now, world famous. I am sure everyone will join me in thanking Steve, Becky, the officials, the South Texas District, and Braeswood A/G for making this a great time for everyone involved.
