Southwest Regional Finals

June 12, 2000

by Jack Schneider/Greg House

To make an extremely long story short, our region had to hold two levels of finals this year due to a mixup in dates in one district. Therefore, the numbers below will look a little odd. The averages of the top three teams and top five individuals are rather low since the top three teams just played each other in a Quintuple Round-Robin (15 rounds, 10 games). Consequently, the scores of the bottom five teams are much higher than normal because they didn't have to play the top three teams at all. Also, the number of games played does not match. Suffice it to say that the five teams going to nationals from the Southwest Region are (in order):

#1 - Orange Hills A/G, Orange, CA

#2 - Radiant Church, Colorado Springs, CO

#3 - Mountain View A/G, Las Vegas, NV

#4 - Orange County Worship Center, Santa Ana, CA

#5 - Aurora First A/G, Aurora, CO

The stats were as follows:

Group A played May 19-20, 2000
