The 31st National Bible Quiz Finals took place August 9-12, 1993 in Minneapolis, MN at North Central Bible College covering the gospel of Luke. Rich Percifield was the National Coordinator and Sean Davis was the official question writer. This was the first year in which third place teams from each were were given the opportunity to compete at national finals. From 1993 to 1995, on Monday the third place teams competed in their own division. The top four were allowed to participate in a 20-team round robin for the championship.

Life Center, Lakewood, CA

The national championship was won by Life Center A/G, Lakewood, CA (pictured). The second place team was First A/G, Bartlesville, OK. The third place team was Braeswood A/G, Houston, TX. This marked the first of five national championships for Lakewood coach Greg House. His teams also won in 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2007.

This marked the tenth overall year in which the Southwest region has won nationals.

The top scorer at the 1993 National Finals was Lisa Wootton of Bartlesville, OK. Lisa would also be the top scorer at the 1994 National Finals. Lisa's per quiz average was 114.21.

The one-on-one was won by Dan Smith of Lakewood, CA. This was the second consecutive year that Dan won this. Lisa Wootton won the scholarship quiz.
